Josh Soskin


Director Josh Soskin grew up in a small surf town in Central California. He began his directing career in the documentary world where he produced and directed hundreds of short docs for Current TV including a half hour special, “Modern Day Pirates” that won him national attention. In 2007 he left Current to travel around the world and begin his directing career filming in Spain, France, Indonesia and Dubai.

Josh moved to LA in 2008 and has since directed award winning short films, commercials and music videos.  His short, Moving Takahashi has been broadcast on Virgin Air, Indieflix and was recently picked up for broadcast in Europe. It won “Short of the Week’s” Best Production 2012 award and was also named by Vimeo Staff Picks in Vimeo’s Best 12 films of 2012.  

In the commercial world, Josh’s clients have included PepsiCo, Ford, IBM, Starbucks, and Toyota.  

He’s also a surfer, photographer, hispanophile, wannabe chef, and proud father of a french bulldog named Guadalupe.  He currently resides in Venice, California. 


Grace Jackson


Producer Grace Jackson grew up on a small ranch in the foothills of Santa Barbara, CA. In 2007, Grace quit her job at an environmental foundation and moved to Europe to pursue documentary filmmaking. That year, she co founded Houseblend Media with Director Josh Soskin and produced over 20 short documentary films across Europe, the Middle East and Asia.  After relocating to Los Angeles, she continued to lead Houseblend Media on to produce several award winning commercials and music videos. Grace currently resides in Venice, CA.

Ivan Diaz-Robledo 


Ivan is a video artist, producer and film-worker who graduated with a Degree in Communication (School of Humanities, UABC). His artistic work has been included in several videos, film and art festivals around the world.  He has worked in the film industry in both location and production management.  In 2011 he was Unit Production Manager for the acclaimed feature film, Miss Bala.  Ivan is currently based in Tijuana, Mexico. 

Rob Hauer

Director of Photography

Rob Hauer was raised on surfing and baseball in the small town of Ventura, California. He originally trained as a still photographer before transitioning into cinematography, where he studied at the Tisch Graduate Film Program. Hauer has teamed with a wide array of directors on projects all over the globe, including the notable Sundance films Victoria Para Chino (dir. Cary Fukunaga), Aquarium (dir. Rob Meyer) and Little Accidents (dir. Sara Colangelo).  He currently lives in Los Angeles, CA.

Abel Jimenez

Assistant Director

Abel began his production career in ernest when he got a job as an Art Department PA onTitanic with Peter Lamont.  He went on to rise up the ranks of production working in both film and television on highly acclaimed projects including Deep Blue Sea, Nacho LIbre, Dennis Maguire, and Resident Evil: Extinction among others.  He currently resides in sunny Ensenada, Mexico.
